This slate spectacles relate to where Bedwyr Williams lives. The village was built in anticipation of a slate rush which never happened. although the rest of the surrounding area is rich in slate. These works are anti-craft - almost slate blasphemy. The drawings are cartoon sketches based on ordinary day to day experiences, with humorous twist.
