Boo Ritson is well known for her narratives taken from the seamier side of urban life in which friends and acquaintances are invited to become players. They are literally painted in her studio and then photographed on almost life size scale. These new prints extend that interest and her fascination with Warhol into obsessive and overdone images that seduce and repel in equal measure.
