Artist / Jen Wei Kuo
Information
Jen Wei Kuo's earlier work drew on the landscape tradition of the Victorian era, using minute particles of his own hair to pick out the detail of paintings associated with Empire. These works reverse that process. Using Western painting techniques he develops imagery in acrylic, watercolour and pencil that derives from Buddhism and early Chinese ceramic decoration.
